Out of all the fabulous accessories featured in fashion week for Autumn/ Winter 2011 these utterly amazing shoes are what stood out for me the most. Miu Miu Glitter and Suede Peep Toe Ankle Boots definitely have that ‘Je ne sais quoi’, that captures your attention and makes you not want to look away.
I think Miu Miu have really pushed the boundaries with this innovative creation, combining the design of a sandal and the shape of a shoe boot. Of course, this shoe encompasses the new ‘curve’ heel featured throughout the Prada and Miu Miu fall collections. At first I wasn’t sure what I thought of the the new heel shape but I have to say with this particular design, it has grown on me. The ‘curve’ may just become a new classic heel shape along with the stiletto, block and wedge.
The glitter is so eye catching and teamed with the beautiful peach suede, the overall effect is exquisite; not so much a shoe, but a piece of art. I personally would be honoured to wear these on my feet, but at £555.00 a pair I would have to forget rent for a month and I have a sneaky suspision that it would be worth it!

These shoes are so incredible. I actually am a fan of the new “curve” heel shape….I think it’s fresh yet it still somehow has that 1960s neo-mod feel. And, of course, I have a weakness for anything pink and glittery. Thanks for doing a post on these!

Holy crap I loooove these Miu Miu glittery suede booties! Amazing! I could do with some Miu Miu in my life….not sure the husband….or pocketbook would agree! Beautiful shoes=pure happiness! 🙂
The glitter is very eye-catching indeed. It’s not quite my style (and I wouldn’t be able to walk on these heels anyway) but they are really amazing.
