Jason Wu Spring 2012- You’ll want it in your Wardrobe!

Having become a household name over the past few years in wardrobes of fashionista’s and the White House a like, Jason Wu’s Spring/ Summer collection for 2012 lived up to expectation. It was everything you wanted it to be and more. Collaborating with the graffitti artist KAWS on a floral print for the collection, he really pushed the boundaries with fabric innovation and embellishment. Here are some of my favourite pieces:

What Jason Wu has manged to produce is a beautiful, innovative and in fact very wearable collection. Using a basic palette of black, white and grey, highlighted with light pink and lime green hues, these pieces will provide exquisite additions to anyones wardrobe. Jason Wu has put a very feminine twist into the collection and celebrates the female form with the thigh skimming, high-waisted hot pants, graduated flirty skirts and sheer fabrics. The clothes really have a feel of understated sex but still remain lady like, with the high necklines showing a demure style and just the right amount of leg on show. I really love these pieces and also the styling of the show with the hair in a sweet up do and statement lipstick, I think we all might be feeling a bit of Wu for Spring / Summer 2012.  What do you think? XOXO

  1. That’s awesome! It’s always good to be a few steps ahead of fashion. Of course, I live in a place in Canada and what’s in style is always a few months behind due to the weather. 😀 Just reading that month’s fashion magazine tells me what’ll be in style in a few months! Hopefully you’ll be doing more posts about next years fashion!
