Front row style at London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week kicked off yesterday at Somerset House, the girls on the front row were oozing style and showing that British girls do it best:

Perfect view: Lydia, Pixie and Caroline look on in delight as they watch the show

Dresses were the desired form of attire, light pastels and monochrome outfits among the favourites and a mix of peep toe and wedge heels proved popular.

Fashion lovers: Lydia Bright looked super stylish in her baby blue dress while Caroline Flack opted for her black shorts and a red blouse with a bootlace tie as they attended the PPQ show on the first day of LFW Fashion lovers: Lydia Bright looked super stylish in her baby blue dress while Caroline Flack opted for her black shorts and a red blouse with a bootlace tie as they attended the PPQ show on the first day of LFW

Lydia Bright one of the most stylish girls from The Only Way is Essex showed off her classic demure style with a pretty pastel blue dress with gold button detailing and nude Louboutins. Presenter du jour Caroline Flack, opted for a more winter style ensemble, with a black short suit, teamed with a wine coloured blouse and chunky ankle boots.

Pixie on parade: Miss Lott arrived at the first day of LFW in a long black and white print dress but changed into a short black dress and shiny coat for the afternoon Pixie on parade: Miss Lott arrived at the first day of LFW in a long black and white print dress but changed into a short black dress and shiny coat for the afternoon

Pixie debuted two outfits, arriving in this beautiful maxi dress with thigh high slit and then changing into this beautiful black dress coat.

Back to black: Pixie looked very chic in her shiny black coat and leopard heels with cat ears

I love this outfit teamed with the gorgeous Charlotte Olympia cat shoes, classic fashion black with a twist!

Fashionistas: Jo Wood and Jameela Jamil also attended the PPQ show Fashionistas: Jo Wood and Jameela Jamil also attended the PPQ show

Jo Wood and Jameela Jamil showed that socks with shoes is a yes! I love Jameela’s monochrome outfit with the hat and the lace sock detailing over the chunky black ankle boots.

Strike a pose: DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford and model Bip Ling were also at the show Strike a pose: DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford and model Bip Ling were also at the show

DJ Sarah Jane Crawford and model Bip Ling showed off their style, mid – thigh length dresses with chain link bags and up-do’s.

It seems feminine dresses, pastel colours and monochrome with an edge will be popular this season. Add prominent accessories such as chunky heeled shoes for an edge on the girly trends and be sure to add details such as frilly socks to complete your outfit. Don’t be afraid to take some risks with your wardrobe this season. XOXO
