I hope you’ve used that new year gym membership wisely, as you’ll need a nicely toned tum for Spring’s hottest trend – the crop top.
A favourite on the catwalk for the Spring / Summer 2012 collections, it has been decided – crop tops are officially back! I am looking at the positive side of this, which is: I have to get in shape to pull this trend off. The last time I wore a crop top was during the Spice Girls era and as you have probably gathered this was a long time ago.
Fashions come back around as they say ‘ Fashion has two legs which keep on walking,’ now usually these trends get better and in this case more sophistiated (heres hoping) with time. What I like about the trend this season, is that most of the tops are teamed with high waisted skirts creating a more girly, pretty feel, as seen in the above image on the Versace and D&G models.

I am definitely a fan of the more subtle crop showing just a glimpse of tum, I feel this look is more attractive and less in your face.
