Belt Up!!! Seen as a firm favourite on the Mulberry catwalk, the belt cinched waist is an essential trend for Winter 2012, look out for baragin belts on sale now, ready for Autumn.

Get your Glitter on!!! Yes girls glitter is back and in a big way, whether you want to go subtle with a nail varnish and a glitter belt, or all out like Meadham Kirchhoff’s party outfit. It’ll be interesting to see how the High Street will interpret this trend, as glitter fashion often comes across quite tacky, love the lips though!

Owls!!! The owl motif  trended back in Autumn 2011 (particularly on necklaces) but it is breaking through in a big way for 2012. At Burberry Prorsum the owl defined the fall collection bringing a cute and kitsch feel to the fabulous winter wear. I want the middle grey one so much!

The Statement Jumper!!! A key piece for your winter wardrobe is the perfect knit, as seen on the runways of Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders. It must have a statement stitch, colour, print or design of some kind.

Dip Dyed Hair!!! At Pringle of Scotland the models hair was dip dyed to contrast the collections colours and showing a diverse way of colour coordinating. Everyone is trying this trend already, I love some of the blonde/ lilac combinations to go with the summers pastels. Perfect your multi-toned locks for winter.

If in doubt turn to Topshop!!! Topshops Unique collection was a hit all round, it had something for everyone and it is just so wearable. Kate Phelan’s debut collection for Unique showed off her stylish yet edgy design skills. The combination of textures and casual styles with tailoring was a refreshing break for the High Street giant.

I hope you loved my round up for Autumn / Winter 2012, get planning your staple style for the new season XOXO
