I love a tea dress, cute, girly and a hint of vintage styling, how could you not? As a garment the Tea Dress really has stood the test of time and is always in style. Here’s the latest Tea Dress I bought to add to my 2014 wardrobe in my bid to wear more colour.
This gorgeous little number is from New Look at £22.99 it’s a bargain, it’s also lightweight and comfortable to wear. I’m deffo a fan of the bright red colour and the print which enhances the vintage style.
I just love the vintage feel of the styling – great cut, great colours and super cute bows & buttons!
There are a few celebrity fans of the Tea Dress too who always look timeless, elegant and classic:
Holly Willoughby always looks amazing in her Tea Dresses on This Morning.
Rachel Bilson, Rosie Huntington – Whiteley and Isabel Lucas all looking stunning in various versions of the classic Tea Dress.
I do find the silhouette of the Tea Dress particularly flattering, the v-neck style emphasizes your boobs and makes them look bigger, the Tea Dress nips you in at the waist and then drapes naturally over your hips. Most Tea Dresses are demure and the hem comes in just above the knee which compliments your legs especially when you wear heels. The perfect Spring / Summer garment if you will.
What’s your verdict – Tea Dress or not Tea Dress?
